As a children's author myself I love the Bentley Hippo books and what they stand for. These are not just books with fun little stories; they deliver an important message that helps young children deal with society, including the other kids around them. Book 4 in the series is all about cultivating patience, something we all need to do more of! As with the other books in the series, Bentley is also a figure of positivity: rather than be disappointed when the rocket ship turns out somewhat differently to what he and his friends had imagined, he immediately sees the positive side and influences the others. Bentley is patient and he is also kind; a true leader. I thoroughly recommend this latest release in the Bentley Hippo series!
The Adventures of Bentley Hippo: Inspiring Children to be Kind by Argyro Graphy is the second of five books in the Inspiring Children Collection. Bullying affects children in many ways and it’s certainly not an issue that should be treated lightly. This storybook addresses the topic very nicely with lovable characters and realistic scenarios. Children will learn about the signs and types of bullying. Knowing how to defend themselves by standing up to mean persons is very important too. The artwork in this animal storybook is appealing. There are many lessons about being kind to others. Other books in this lovely theme-based educational collection inspire children to share and never give up. Parents and teachers can add this collection to their children’s reading list.

Yes, she has. Argyro Graphy has produced another wonderful book for children. Firstly, the illustrations by Michael Reyes are as exceptional as always. Clear and colourful, they just about jump out of the page. The story has a good pace and excellent dialogue between the characters. The story is engaging and fun and has a message that is not too pushy but evident nonetheless. These books are great for kids to learn about life and a useful tool for parents. And, Bentley is a loveable character in his own right. Well done the team!

My kids enjoyed this story and we all liked the overall theme of bullying, and how it was told. It shows how bullies make their victims feel, and how others can be made to join in out of fear. The story had a good ending and the characters were very cute. My kids loved Bentley and the elephant

Bentley has hit it out of the park again with another book in this series, this time teaching kids about “patience”. What an important concept, and one that helps us all if we can only be a little more patient with ourselves and with each other. As always, the characters are lovable and adorable.
